A big thank you to Elements Music Festival for their generous donation of a pallet of water and a pallet of soda to the fire company! We truly appreciate your support of our department and our members!
This was very generous of them. The owner and workers were phenomenal and professional and willing to answer any questions presented to them. A great behind the scenes experience!
Also this weekend, 2 company members along with members of Polk Township Volunteer Fire Company, West End Volunteer Fire Company Station 43 and Blue Ridge Hook and Ladder Fire Co. attended a Farm Tractor and Machinery Rescue Class hosted by Polk Township Volunteer Fire Company.
Participants gained valuable hands-on training in safely dealing with farm equipment and machinery emergencies. Training like this helps us stay prepared for the wide variety of calls we may encounter in our community and surrounding communities.
Thanks to RescueTechs, LLC for putting on a great, informative class and thank you to Polk Township for their hospitality and for setting this valuable training up.

A busy weekend for Station 42.
On Friday members visited Tobyhanna Elementary Center along with Tobyhanna Township Volunteer Fire Company for their annual fire prevention presentation.
On Saturday some members participated in Camp Sunny Day at Pocono Raceway, and other members participated in Tunk Fest at the Tunkhannock Township Park.
Our members are always happy to participate in fire prevention programs and community events. These are great opportunities to meet our neighbors, educate our community, and make a positive difference.
